Modem Equipment Packages


An equipment purchase is required for every new customer DSL order. AT&T provides two affordable options during the online purchase process: a standard DSL modem for $49.99, or an AT&T Wireless Gateway (wireless router with built-in modem) for $79.99. Applicable taxes and a shipping and handling fee for the equipment also apply.

AT&T Wireless Gateway - $79.99
(Taxes and $12.95 Shipping/Handling charges apply).  With AT&T Wireless Gateway, customers can share one high-speed Internet connection with up to ten high-speed Internet-capable computers or other devices. All users can be online doing different things at the same time and at the same fast speed.

High-Speed Modem - $49.99
(Taxes and $12.95 Shipping/Handling charges apply).  External ADSL Ethernet Modem and cabling to connect your computer to the Internet.

Applicable charges will be billed to your telephone bill associated with your AT&T DSL telephone number. Ethernet adapter (NIC), if needed, is purchased separately.

Modem and self-installation kit will be sent by UPS to your service address. Equipment and activation in 5 to 10 business days from order date.

Note: AT&T will contact you to confirm the activation date. If you are not satisfied with the date, you may contact AT&T to reschedule.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the terms below, and authorize attsignup.com to check availability and place my order for AT&T DSL, if currently available for the phone number provided. 

I agree to maintain AT&T High Speed Internet (Downstream speeds up to 768 Kbps/Upstream speeds up to 128 Kbps) or a higher speed, for twelve (12) months from the date of activation. I understand that this is a special offer for customers who order online and who have not previously subscribed to AT&T High Speed Internet (DSL) from AT&T. AT&T reserves the right to re-rate to the appropriate monthly rate if this information is found to be false.

AT&T High speed is subject to the terms and conditions of the AT&T Internet Service Agreement ("Service Agreement"), provided at the time of service registration and activation. If I terminate my AT&T High Speed Internet, or if service is terminated for violation of the Service Agreement, prior to the expiration of twelve (12) months from the activation date, I understand I will be charged a $50 termination fee that represents a portion of the network activation and setup costs foregone as a result of such termination.

I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing term agreement, and I agree to the terms and conditions thereof, including, but not limited to, the $50 early termination fee.

AT&T HIGH SPEED INTERNET:  Offer Details

If your location qualifies for AT&T High Speed Internet, you will receive a confirmation email from AT&T detailing your order usually within 24 hours. We will continue to check availability for your number daily for up to 7 days. If your location does not qualify for AT&T High Speed Internet, we may provide information about other high-speed providers available for your location.

If you now have DSL from another provider installed on your phone line, your order cannot be processed until the DSL from the other provider is cancelled and cleared from your line.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The installation materials provided through the self-installation kit or by the service technician will contain the Terms of Service for AT&T High Speed Internet. You should review these Terms of Service before installation by visiting att.yahoo.com/terms. During the installation process, you will need to accept these Terms of Service in order to use AT&T High Speed Internet and continue with installation. If you decline to accept the Terms of Service, you will need to call 1-877-722-3755 to cancel the service within 30 days after service activation to avoid service charges and installation fees.

Once your AT&T High Speed Internet is activated, you should keep your modem/router on for 10 consecutive days while AT&T Internet Services attempts to optimize your AT&T High Speed Internet in order to provide the best practicable access speed within your speed range.

* AT&T HIGH SPEED INTERNET BASIC PROMOTION:

Residential AT&T High Speed Internet customers only. Basic speed ($10.00 per month) available for new customers only. New customer is defined as not having AT&T High Speed Internet or BellSouth High Speed Internet in the past 12-months. Purchase of local service from the applicable AT&T incumbent local exchange carrier required. This is a limited time offer and is only available for AT&T High Speed Internet. Static IP products not included. Speed references based on maximum downstream DSL synch rates and may vary. $150-$200 additional charge will apply if technician install is required or desired.
